Risa, the City Under Glass

At first, this was just going to be called the Glasshouse, and for the longest time, that's what it was referred to as. However, when the map fell into my responsibility, I thought the city needed a name. It's a tropical, resort sort of place; futuristic.
So, being the nerd/Trekky that I am, it reminded me of the resort planet of Risa featured in a handful of episodes of Star Trek: TNG. It looks nothing like the actual Risa, but I thought it shared some similar qualities.

This took many weeks of work, and I wasn't the only one who did work on this piece either.
Cypher, while she was/is staff on DLP, did the amazing linework and base colors over my sketches.
Eridan, at the time our head-artist, colored the buildings and the skyscape.
I did the rest of the colors and foliage, building names/signs/logos, and did the original sketch and idea.

If anyone wants a step-by-step on this, I can make one. It's actually pretty nifty the way it evolved over the months it was being passed from artist to artist.
